Best practices for xeriscaping in my dry garden!
Hey fellow gardeners! I'm really looking to make my garden more water-wise, especially during the dry summer months here in Cape Town. I've done a bit of research on xeriscaping and want to incorporate it into my landscape design, but I'm not entirely sure of the best practices. My garden currently has some established shrubs, but I want to replace some sections with drought-tolerant plants. What strategies or design tips do you recommend for making an existing garden more xeriscaped? Also, how can I ensure that I’m selecting plants that will thrive in my specific soil conditions? I can’t wait to hear your thoughts! 🌸💧
