How can I creatively use vertical space for a Victorian-inspired garden on my balcony?

I'm really excited about the idea of bringing some Victorian flair to my balcony garden in NYC! I love the aesthetics and lush greenery typical of that style, but my outdoor space is pretty limited. I've been experimenting with container gardening, using pots and hanging planters, but I feel like I’m missing out on that vertical element that defines Victorian gardens. I’ve tried attaching some wall planters, but they don’t quite fit the Victorian vibe I’m going for. My garden is primarily filled with herbs, some climbing plants, and a few flowers, but I want to elevate it—literally! 😂 Can anyone help with tips or tricks on how to maximize vertical space while adding that classic Victorian charm? Any specific structures or plant arrangements you would recommend?
