I'm really excited to grow dahlias in my rural Irish garden! I've been gardening for a long time, but I'm a bit unsure about how the damp climate will affect the growth of my dahlia bulbs. I've chosen a sheltered spot that gets plenty of afternoon sun, and Iām planning to plant them in well-draining soil. However, considering our frequent rain and cooler temperatures, should I take any special precautions to protect them, especially during their initial growth phase?
