How do I train my ficus bonsai for a more natural look?
I'm really excited about my ficus bonsai! I want to create a more natural, free-flowing shape instead of the traditional stylized forms. I've been observing how the branches grow in my indoor environment, but I'm unsure about which techniques to use. I live in a small apartment in Toronto, and my bonsai is currently about 12 inches tall. I've tried bending some branches gently, but I'm worried I might damage them. Can anyone help me understand the best ways to train my ficus bonsai while ensuring it stays healthy and vibrant? Any tips on wiring or pruning would be so appreciated! 🌳✨
