Can a spade help with companion planting setups?
I've been diving into companion planting lately, trying to create a more harmonious garden in my small space. I have a few beds where I've planted flowers alongside my veggies, but I'm struggling with the prep work. I want to make sure I’m using my spade to dig properly for the plants that benefit from each other. My question is, can a spade actually improve my setup when planting companions? How exactly should I use it to ensure I’m getting the right depth and space for each plant? Any gardening veterans out there with insights? 🌱
