How can I optimize pruning techniques for dragon fruit growth?

I'm really fascinated by the growth habit of dragon fruit, which I've been considering adding to my garden. Given my experience with bonsai and tree care, I'm curious about how I can use my pruning skills to optimize the shape and yield of the plant. I understand that dragon fruit can grow quite tall and sprawling, and I want to make sure I’m not just letting it take over a corner of my garden! My garden setup allows plenty of sunlight, but I’ve been reading conflicting advice on how much to prune and when. I've tried pruning some other fruiting plants, but I want to be precise with my technique for dragon fruit to encourage more branches and fruiting. Can anyone share their best practices about when and how much to prune to get the best results? I’d love to hear from more experienced growers!
