Can I Successfully Create a Drought-Resistant Edible Landscape?

I’m quite excited about the prospect of creating an edible landscape that incorporates drought-tolerant plants. My garden is situated in a fairly sunny area of Accra, and while I cherish the variety of indigenous flowers, I’m also keen on integrating food-producing plants that can thrive with limited water. I’ve had success with herbs and a few vegetables, but I'm looking for guidance on how to select additional edible plants that are drought-resistant, as well as tips on creating a cohesive garden design that incorporates both aesthetics and practicality. Has anyone successfully done this? I would love to hear any personal experiences or ideas on how to achieve a sustainable, drought-resistant landscape that is also productive!
