How can I protect hollyhocks from extreme heat and sun exposure?
Living in Dubai means dealing with extreme heat and I’m considering introducing hollyhocks into my garden. I love the idea of their tall blooms, but the sun here can be relentless. I've planted other flowers before, but some have struggled to cope with the temperatures, even with strategic placement. I’ve tried providing shade with larger plants nearby, but I’m concerned that hollyhocks might still suffer. What strategies can I implement to protect them from the harsh sun and heat? Any practical tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
