Can climate differences affect the choice of greenhouse heater?

Living in Tokyo, I’ve noticed that the microclimate in my area can be quite different from surrounding districts, with some winters being colder than others. My bonsai greenhouse is primarily used in the winter, and I’ve been contemplating whether the local climate should influence my choice of heating. I currently have an electric heater, but I’m wondering if I should also consider other types, like gas or oil heaters, based on how the temperature varies seasonally. Has anyone experienced similar issues with climate differences impacting their heater choice? What advice can you offer on selecting the best heater for variable local climates? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
