How do I ensure my garden bench supports local biodiversity?

I’m excited to incorporate a garden bench into my backyard as a relaxing spot to enjoy nature, but I also want it to support local biodiversity. My garden is home to a variety of native bees and butterflies, and I’m concerned about how the materials and placement of the bench might affect these beneficial species. I’ve already decided against using chemical treatments that could be harmful, but I’m curious about how I could design the area around the bench to encourage more wildlife interaction, like adding specific plants or creating habitats. What would you recommend to ensure my bench complements the biodiversity I’m fostering?
