How can I effectively prevent root rot in my hydroponic leafy greens?
I'm a hydroponic enthusiast living in Dubai, and I've noticed some discoloration and wilting in my leafy greens lately. I've been using a nutrient solution and maintaining a steady pH, but my plants seem to be struggling. My setup is in a nutrient film technique (NFT) system, and I've tried flushing the system to reset the nutrients, but it doesn't seem to help. I've read that temperature and humidity can play a role in root health, especially in indoor environments like mine where it's warm and occasionally humid. Can anyone provide specific strategies to prevent root rot in this system? What environmental factors should I monitor more closely? I'd really appreciate the input!
