Designing Edible Landscapes with Heirloom Plants
I'm looking to integrate more heirloom vegetables into my garden design while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing layout. My garden in Bavaria has a mix of sun and partial shade, and I've been growing heirloom tomatoes, carrots, and a variety of herbs for over 20 years. Recently, I've tried to create designated areas for each plant type, but I feel like I'm missing something in terms of design. How can I achieve a harmonious blend of beauty and functionality in my edible landscape? Any tips on layout ideas that work well with heirloom varieties would be greatly appreciated!
