What tips do you have for composting during the fall?
Hey fellow gardeners! I’ve been composting for a while now, but I want to make sure I’m doing it right as the seasons change. With the leaves falling and all the vegetable scraps I’m accumulating, I'm wondering how best to manage my compost pile in the cooler weather. Do I need to change my ratios of greens to browns? And how do I keep it from freezing solid? I want to maintain that rich, nutrient-dense compost for my balcony garden. Any suggestions or best practices you have for fall composting would be amazing! 🍂🧑🌾
