How do I optimize drainage in my outdoor pots for vegetable plants?
My vegetable garden setup on my balcony has been thriving, but I've noticed some drainage issues with a few of my pots. I'm using standard plastic pots, but I've been struggling with water pooling at the bottom after watering. This is particularly concerning for my tomatoes and peppers which need good drainage to prevent root rot. I've gone ahead and drilled extra holes in the bottoms of some pots, but I still feel like there’s more I can do. What innovative techniques or materials can I incorporate to enhance drainage and ensure my plants stay healthy? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
