How often should I water my ficus bonsai during different seasons?

I'm trying to figure out the watering schedule for my ficus bonsai, and I'm a bit lost when it comes to adapting it with the changing seasons. I’ve been watering on a weekly basis, but I’ve heard that the requirements can vary significantly between spring, summer, fall, and winter. My indoor conditions can get pretty warm during summer, while winter can bring dryness. I want to avoid overwatering or underwatering, which could damage the roots. Can anyone provide advice on how to assess when to water my ficus bonsai throughout the year and any signs I should look for to determine its needs?
