What’s the best way to layer daffodils in a mixed perennial bed?

I love creating layers in my garden to maximize visual interest and pollinator access! I’m planning to integrate daffodil bulbs into my perennial beds this fall. I’ve already got a mix of cone flowers and bee balm, but I want to make sure the daffodils have enough room to shine in the spring before the perennials take off. I've tried layering before with other bulbs, but I’m curious if there’s a recommended depth or spacing for daffodils when mixed with other plants. How can I arrange them to ensure they're not overshadowed and still thrive? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! 🌻
