How can I enhance the aesthetic appeal of my fig tree in landscape design?
I'm really passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces, and I've planted a couple of fig trees in my garden in San Francisco, which has a lovely Mediterranean climate. However, I'm looking to optimize the visual design around them. I've tried incorporating some native flowers around the base, but I feel like I need to add more texture or height to the arrangement to really make the fig trees stand out. My garden setup is somewhat limited as I want the design to be cohesive and low-maintenance but still eye-catching. What strategies or companion plants would you recommend that could not only beautify the area but also complement the fig trees? Can anyone help with ideas or examples of successful pairings?
