How can I create the perfect humidity environment for my indoor bonsai?
I'm really excited about my indoor bonsai journey! I've got a little Ficus that I'm totally in love with, but I'm struggling with the humidity levels in my home. I live in a fairly dry climate, and my living space isn't particularly humid, even when the heater's not running. I've been misting my bonsai daily and using a pebble tray, but I feel like it might not be enough for this delicate little tree! My experience growing native plants has taught me that humidity is crucial for many species, but I'm unsure how to translate that to my bonsai. I really want to avoid any leaf drop or stress for my plant. What are some additional tips or techniques I can use to boost the humidity around my bonsai? Should I invest in a humidity gauge or a small humidifier? Any specific methods that have worked for you would be greatly appreciated! πΏπ§
