What’s the best way to introduce fertilizer to a new bonsai tree?
I'm really excited about my new bonsai collection, and I just got a beautiful Ficus bonsai! 🌱 I know that fertilizing it properly is crucial for its health, especially since I typically work with vegetables and herbs in my organic garden in South Africa. However, I've never used fertilizer on indoor plants before. I've read that you shouldn't fertilize newly repotted bonsais right away, but I’m not exactly sure when to start or what method to use. Should I dilute it, or is there a specific technique for applying it to bonsais? My goal is to give it the best start possible! Can anyone share their advice on how to introduce fertilizer without overwhelming my little tree?
