What type of soil works best for gladiolus in containers?
I'm really excited to try out gladiolus since I've been experimenting with container gardening in my new apartment! I've learned that soil quality is super important for container plants, but I'm not sure what type is best for gladiolus. My containers are placed on my balcony, which gets a lot of sun, but the soil I used for my succulents might not be ideal for these flowers. I want them to thrive and look gorgeous, just like what I see in garden centers! I’ve been mixing regular potting soil with perlite, but I’m curious if that’s enough or if I should add anything else? Can anyone help with tips on the best soil mix for gladiolus? 🌷
