Can planting flowers in poor soil still yield beautiful blooms?

I'm facing a bit of a dilemma with my garden and wanted to reach out for some advice! 🌺 In one section, the soil is quite rocky and nutrient-poor, and I’ve been hesitant to plant my favorite flowers there. I know healthy soil is key to a successful garden, but I have these seeds just waiting to bloom! I’ve tried amending the soil with some compost, but I’m not sure if that’s enough to support the flowers I want to plant. Can flowers still thrive in less-than-ideal soil conditions, or should I focus on improving the soil further? I’d love to hear how you’ve tackled similar challenges! 🌼
