What focal points should I include in my Japanese garden design?
I'm really excited about creating a Japanese garden in my small backyard! I've always loved the serene aesthetics of these gardens and how they blend nature with design. Currently, my garden is mostly veggie patches, and while I love growing my own ingredients, I want to add a peaceful corner to relax in. I've been reading about different elements like stone lanterns, water features, and maybe even a small bridge. I'm just not sure what to prioritize when planning the layout. Should I focus more on the plants, or are the structures like rocks and paths more important? Can anyone share advice on what focal points would best enhance the tranquility of my space?
