Are there specific native plants that deter common garden pests?
I’ve spent the last two decades refining my landscape design while integrating native plants into my garden. I’m particularly interested in understanding which native species can naturally deter common pests that I've been facing, such as aphids and caterpillars. My garden setup includes a mix of flowering plants and vegetable beds, and while I love the diversity, I find it challenging to manage pests organically. I’ve planted some marigolds and nasturtiums, but I'm looking for additional native options that can enhance both the aesthetic and pest control aspects of my garden. Can anyone share their knowledge on specific native plants that can act as pest repellents without compromising the ecosystem I’ve worked hard to cultivate?
