How to select child-friendly plants for a garden?
I'm in the process of developing a children's garden and want to focus on plant selection that is not only easy to grow but also safe and fun for kids. I've been considering herbs and vegetables, as they provide both educational value and the promise of tasty snacks. Currently, I have some experience in indoor herb gardening, but I'm not sure which plants would thrive best outdoors in my climate, which is moderately temperate. I've read about companion planting and how it can help with plant growth, especially in terms of pest management. Can anyone recommend specific child-friendly plants that are resilient and perfect for little hands to handle? Any advice on how to structure the garden for easy access would also be appreciated!
