How can I effectively create a balanced indoor ecosystem for my plants?

I'm really passionate about organic gardening and have spent the last three decades honing my skills in the vegetable garden. Lately, I've been venturing into growing some indoor plants, and I'm excited about it! I live in a moderately humid area and have a bright spot in my living room where I've set up a few pots with a mix of herbs and ornamental plants. However, I'm feeling a bit stuck on how to create a balanced ecosystem that supports all my plants without compromising their health. I've tried using some organic fertilizers and making sure they get some natural light, but I know there’s more to it. My biggest concern is maintaining the right humidity and airflow while ensuring that no plant is outcompeting others for resources. Can anyone help with tips on achieving that harmony within my indoor garden, especially regarding soil health and pest management? Any advice on the types of plants that work well together would also be appreciated! 🌱
