How do I maintain humidity for tropical decorative plants indoors?

As a retired botanist with a keen interest in indoor gardening, I find myself quite captivated by tropical decorative plants, especially those with striking foliage like the Monstera and Alocasia. I have a few of them in my home here in Dublin, but I’ve noticed that the indoor air tends to be quite dry, particularly during the winter months. Despite my efforts to mist them regularly and place a pebble tray underneath, I’m worried it may not be enough to replicate their native humid environments. I’ve read about using humidifiers, and while I think that might help, I’m unsure how to integrate that into my existing plant care routine. Can anyone suggest practical methods to maintain the right humidity levels for these plants without overwhelming them? Any insights into effective humidity solutions would be greatly appreciated!
