Can Ceramic Pots Impact My Indoor Plant's Water Needs?

I'm currently exploring different options for ceramic pots in my indoor vertical garden setup, and I've noticed a variety of ceramic materials and glazes available. My concern revolves around how these materials impact the water retention of the soil. Living in an urban area means my space is limited, and I rely heavily on my indoor plants for both aesthetics and air quality. I’ve already tried some unglazed terracotta pots, but I found them to dry out too quickly for my succulents. I’m considering switching to glazed ceramic pots, but I’m unsure how they will affect my plants' watering needs. Can anyone provide insights on whether glazed ceramic pots retain more moisture compared to unglazed pots, and how that might influence my watering schedule? I'm especially interested in understanding any adjustments I might need to make to ensure my plants thrive in these new pots!
