How to Choose the Right Ceramic Pots for My Indoor Tropical Plants?

I'm really excited about expanding my indoor garden with some tropical plants! Living in Mexico City, I’ve got a variety of humidity and sunlight levels in my apartment. I’ve already bought a couple of beautiful ceramic pots, but I’m wondering—how do I choose the right size and type for different tropical plants? I know that some plants need more drainage than others, and I want to make sure I’m giving my plants the best chance to thrive. Can anyone share tips on what to look for in terms of pot size, drainage holes, and even the finish of the ceramic? I’ve read that some finishes can retain moisture differently. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! 🌿
