Can I adapt my cactus soil mix for indoor cactus plants?

I’ve been experimenting with different plants in containers on my small organic farm, and I've recently decided to bring some of my cacti indoors. While I've found a successful soil mix for outdoor cactus plants, I'm unsure if I need to adapt it for indoor conditions. My indoor space has less light and more humidity compared to my outdoor garden in California. I've used a standard mix for potted plants, but it seems to stay moister than I'd like. Should I adjust the soil composition for my indoor cacti? Perhaps increase the sand or perlite ratio? I’d appreciate any recommendations on modifying my cactus soil mix for better indoor growth. Thanks in advance!
