Are there specific trowel materials that work better for hydroponics?

As I've been diving deeper into hydroponics over the last few years, I’ve started to wonder about the materials used in garden tools, specifically trowels. I usually use a stainless steel trowel, but I'm not entirely sure if there's a better option out there that could reduce corrosion or improve durability when dealing with moist environments. My garden setup is in a hydroponic greenhouse, so I’m frequently working with nutrient solutions that can affect tools. I've read conflicting information about biodegradable plastics versus metals. Can anyone help clarify this? What materials do you find last longer and perform better in hydroponic applications?
