Can a garden spade help with vegetable bed preparation?
Hey fellow gardeners! I'm in the midst of prepping my vegetable beds for the upcoming growing season, and I've been using my trusty spade for turning the soil. However, I'm wondering if I’m using it to its full potential. I've read that certain techniques can improve soil aeration and mix in compost better. My garden consists of a few raised beds, and space is limited, so I'm trying to make the most of it! I've tried just turning the soil, but I feel like I'm missing something. What methods or techniques do you recommend for using a spade effectively when preparing vegetable beds? Any advice would really help me out!
