How to manage lantana's growth and flowering in southern California?

I'm currently cultivating a vibrant patch of lantana in my organic farm here in sunny California. With the warm climate, I’ve noticed that while my plants are thriving, they seem to grow quite aggressively. I've been trying to control their spread while still encouraging them to bloom more profusely. My garden setup includes rich, organic soil and plenty of sunlight. I've tried adding compost to boost their growth but I'm wondering if there are specific techniques for managing their growth without sacrificing the flowering. Can anyone share their tips on balancing growth and flowering for lantana in a similar climate? Your insights would be greatly appreciated!
