Troubleshooting Seedling Diseases in My Starter Mix?
My seedlings have started showing signs of disease, and I think it might be related to the seed starting mix I used. I noticed a few of them developing damping-off disease, which is frustrating because I invested time into optimizing my hydroponic setup. I’ve been keeping the environment humid, but I didn’t realize the mix could harbor pathogens. I’ve been using a commercially available peat-based mix, but I’m considering switching to a sterilized coir-based mix for disease prevention. What preventative measures can I take when starting seeds to reduce the risk of disease? Are there any specific products or techniques you’ve found effective?
