Is there a way to enrich cactus mix soil without affecting drainage?
I'm all about self-sufficiency and I'm trying to get the most out of my vertical garden on my NYC balcony! 🌆 Recently, I’ve added some flowering cacti, and I want to make sure they're as happy as possible! I'm curious if there's a way to enrich the cactus mix soil with organic matter or other amendments that won't compromise the crucial drainage. I’ve been hesitant to mix in compost since I fear it might hold too much water. Anyone have experience with this? What sources can I use that would benefit my cacti without messing with their drainage needs? Help me out!
