Should I use a specific fertilizer post-repotting for orchids?
I’m gearing up to repot my orchids and I’ve been pondering about their feeding requirements right after the process. During my time as a botanist, I’ve learned the importance of balancing nutrient delivery, but I want to ensure I do this correctly for orchids specifically. I previously avoided using fertilizers immediately after repotting, thinking it might stress them further. However, I've read conflicting advice about whether orchids benefit from a diluted fertilizer during recovery. Should I wait a few weeks before fertilizing, or is it beneficial to provide them with a specific ferti-tool right after? Can anyone share insights based on their experiences in feeding orchids post-repotting?
