What amendments can I add to improve drainage in cactus potting soil?

I'm currently growing several varieties of cacti in my small urban garden in Pune, and I’ve noticed that some of my plants are struggling a bit. I’m using a commercial cactus potting mix, but I think it might not be draining as well as it should. I’ve tried adding extra perlite and coarse sand, but I'm not sure if I've hit the right mix yet. My goal is to enhance the drainage without compromising the nutrient availability for the cacti. Can anyone suggest specific amendments that could help improve drainage while still retaining some moisture? I want to ensure my beloved cacti thrive! 🌵
