Companion planting for my fall vegetables?
As I plan my fall vegetable garden, I’m really interested in companion planting strategies that can enhance growth and deter pests. My experience with companion planting has been mostly anecdotal, and I’ve primarily focused on crops like tomatoes and basil in summer. With fall approaching, I’d love to hear what combinations have worked best for others with vegetables like carrots, beets, or cabbage. Are there specific plants that complement these crops well? I want to create a thriving ecosystem in my urban garden and would appreciate any tips or success stories from fellow gardeners!
