What’s the best time to harvest dandelions for tea?
Living in an urban environment, I’ve noticed that my dandelions thrive in different conditions than my other herbs. I’ve been experimenting with harvesting them for tea, but I’m unsure about the timing. I’ve read that the flowers are best harvested at a certain stage, but what about the leaves and roots? My garden is still pretty small, and I want to maximize what I can get from it. Does anyone have advice on the best time of year and time of day for harvesting dandelions to ensure quality for tea?
