What's the best trowel for breaking up my Irish clay soil?
I'm currently working on my vegetable garden here in rural Ireland, and I've been struggling with the dense clay soil that seems to cling to my trowel like it’s its best friend! I've tried a few different trowels, but they all seem to get bogged down in the heavy earth. My garden setup involves raised beds, but I also have a few spots where I plant directly into the ground. Can anyone recommend a specific trowel design or material that can handle tough soil without making my wrist feel like it's going to fall off? I’m looking for something that’s durable but also comfortable to use over long periods. Any insights would really help me out! 🌱
