What's the best way to deal with my dill going to seed so quickly?

I'm really enjoying my tiny balcony garden in NYC, and I've been excited about my dill plants. However, I've noticed that they seem to be going to seed way earlier than I expected! I've got them planted in pretty decent containers, but they’ve shot up and started flowering in just a few weeks. My balcony gets a fair amount of sun, and I've been diligent with watering and providing some organic fertilizer. I've read that pinching off the flowers can help, but I'm a little unsure about how to do that without harming the plant itself. I really want to maximize the growth of the leaves since I love using dill in my cooking. Can anyone help with tips on how to manage this situation? Should I be doing anything else to slow down the flowering process? Any advice on keeping my dill bushy and flavorful would be super appreciated! 🌿
