How do I integrate lion's mane mushrooms into my permaculture design?

I'm currently redesigning my backyard to enhance biodiversity and sustainability using permaculture principles. I've been focusing on native plants but recently became interested in incorporating edible fungi, particularly lion's mane mushrooms, into my landscape. My garden, located in the temperate climate of the Pacific Northwest, has ample shade from mature trees, which I understand can be beneficial for mushroom cultivation. However, I'm unsure how to blend these fungi harmoniously with my existing plantings and soil health. I've read about their symbiotic relationships with certain trees and want to ensure that I'm fostering an environment conducive to their growth without disrupting the ecosystem. Can anyone help with advice on integrating lion's mane mushrooms into my design while maintaining a healthy garden ecosystem?
